Description For Experienced Software Developer – Data Engineering

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an experienced Software Developer specializing in Data Engineering to join their dynamic team across multiple locations. This role is part of the Integrated Champion Environment (ICE) initiative, which enables production teams to optimize operations and make data-driven decisions.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2-3 days per week onsite at one of several locations including Berkeley, MO; Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; Ridley Park, PA; San Antonio, TX; or Arlington, VA. The role combines technical expertise with business impact, focusing on building and maintaining sophisticated data pipelines and architectures that support critical manufacturing operations.

As a Data Engineering Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data solutions, from ETL processes to visualization tools. The role requires expertise in data warehouse design, pipeline optimization, and security implementation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business value.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $105,400 to $152,950 depending on location and experience.
