Description For Mid-Level C#.Net Software Engineer Developer

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer - Developer to join their Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) team in Hazelwood, Missouri. This role is part of the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Software Engineering organization, focusing on developing and maintaining critical aircraft maintenance management systems.

The position involves working on the Maintenance Management System (MMS), which is responsible for acquiring and managing aircraft health and usage data, performing assessments, and recommending maintenance actions. As a software engineer, you'll be developing cloud-based microservice applications within a CI/CD pipeline, using agile methodologies with a strong focus on code quality, security, and automation.

The role requires 5 years of experience in software framework development, object-oriented design principles, and C#/ASP.NET. The ideal candidate should have experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and microservices. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure, PCF, Open Shift, AWS) is preferred.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
  • Develop, maintain, enhance and optimize software products and functionalities for systems integrations
