The Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) Disruptive Computing & Networking (DC&N) is seeking a Senior Process & Tools Software Engineer to join their team in either El Segundo or Huntington Beach, CA. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering value stream within Boeing's aerospace operations.
The position involves working directly with engineering teams to provide technical support on software processes and tools deployed on DC&N programs. You'll collaborate with Boeing process and tools experts from various business units and product teams to implement processes, resolve issues, and drive engineering excellence.
As a Senior Process & Tools Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing engineering tools and processes, while ensuring compliance with requirements and standards. The role requires excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience working with multiple engineering tools & processes related to software and software-driven hardware engineering.
Key responsibilities include providing informal training, assisting in process utilization, supporting engineering design integration, and leading the collection and analysis of engineering performance metrics. The position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to complete a CI polygraph.
The compensation package ranges from $130,900 to $177,100, complemented by comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and life insurance.
