Simulation Requirements Engineer (Experienced / Senior)

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Simulation Requirements Engineer to join their Software Engineering BESTAF SIM organization in Seattle, WA. This role focuses on providing software support across Boeing's major divisions including Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Defense & Space (BDS), and Global Services (BGS). The position involves leading software modeling and simulation activities, with emphasis on developing simulation requirements from airplane system specifications.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact the engineering and development of IAC software airplane simulation used throughout aircraft design and testing phases. You'll be responsible for governing the design, implementation, and testing of real-time models for aircraft systems and displays. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment with a mix of new feature development and maintenance of legacy simulation systems.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience in software development, particularly with C/C++, Java/Python, and MATLAB/Simulink. Knowledge of Boeing commercial airplanes, simulation systems, and engineering environments is highly desired. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
