Boeing Global Services is seeking an experienced Simulation Software Engineer to join their Software Engineering organization in Long Beach, California. Responsibilities For Simulation Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior)

  • Generate, analyze, debug, document and test software that simulates aircraft systems
  • Integrate software components into functional software system
  • Develop and execute test procedures
  • Develop and deploy software processes, tools and metrics
  • Support software integration and validation on flight training devices
  • Support qualifications of full flight simulators
  • Implement engineering math and physics concepts as software models
  • Work within an agile development team
  • Communicate complex software concepts to management and technical team

Requirements For Simulation Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior)

Linux
  • 5+ years experience developing code in C++
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in flight simulation
  • Bachelor/master's degree in engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience using Linux operating systems
  • Experience with agile methods and processes
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Eclipse or similar
  • Experience using Boeing design documents and specifications
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by export control requirements
