Responsibilities For Software Certification Engineer

  • Design, develop, analyze, and maintain software systems meeting industry standards
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate system-level requirements into software requirements
  • Prepare and submit technical documentation for FAA certification
  • Perform software system-level analyses to identify risks and issues
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure alignment with requirements
  • Monitor test completion and verification processes
  • Develop user documentation and training materials
  • Review product and process alignment with project plans
  • Implement current and emerging technologies and tools
  • Perform software project management and supplier management activities

Requirements For Software Certification Engineer

Java
Python
  • 5+ years experience in software engineering
  • 5+ years experience with software development using either Java, C++, or Python
  • 1+ years experience in RTCA DO-178(B/C) Software Considerations in Airborne Systems
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
