Description For Software Engineer–Test & Verification

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) Team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for Test & Verification to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. This role focuses on developing and supporting platform health management systems for military aircraft including F/A-18, MQ-25, F-15, T-38, and T-7.

The position primarily involves testing and validating the Aircraft Maintenance Debriefing System (AMDS) and Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) applications for the F-15 aircraft, with opportunities to test similar applications for F-18 and MQ-25 aircraft. These systems are crucial for managing aircraft health data, performing assessments, and recommending maintenance actions.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a casual but professional environment with multi-disciplined engineering teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for automated testing, test script development, test cycle planning, and bug reporting. They will work with cutting-edge technologies and tools including Ranorex, C#, JavaScript, AzureDevOps, and GitLab.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer–Test & Verification

  • Automated testing through Ranorex
  • Write test scripts and pipeline automation in C# and JavaScript
  • Plan and lead test cycles
  • Develop new test cases based on program requirements
  • Create and execute test plans
  • Write up software bugs with appropriate information for analysis
  • Communicate with multifunctional skill teams
  • Work with hardware and network architecture
  • Track test cases and results in AzureDevOps

Requirements For Software Engineer–Test & Verification

JavaScript
  • 2+ years writing code in C#, JavaScript or a similar coding language
  • 2+ years in software testing and verification
  • Familiarization with GitLab and source control
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
