Description For Construction Staff Engineer - Overhead Construction Projects

The CARIAN Group, a nationally certified woman-owned management consulting firm, is seeking a Construction Staff Engineer to support overhead construction projects across New Jersey. This role combines engineering and construction support for transmission and distribution projects, working directly from client field offices.

The position involves ensuring seamless coordination between engineering requirements and construction execution, playing a crucial role in project completion with safety and timeliness as priorities. Working on a Monday through Thursday schedule (10 hours/day), the successful candidate will be responsible for on-site engineering support, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. The role requires travel to various project sites, making a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle essential.
