This role is part of the CoCounsel for Accounting team, formed from the recent acquisition of Materia. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll lead front-end initiatives to create engaging user experiences that leverage generative AI features, working with cutting-edge technology and top AI experts.
The position requires expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js, with a focus on building scalable, performant web applications. Responsibilities For Senior Frontend Engineer, Materia AI
- Design, build, and maintain React-based web application at scale
- Implement user interfaces using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize for speed, scalability, and responsiveness
- Serve as a lead on front-end projects, guiding junior engineers
- Contribute to technical design decisions
- Work with AI/ML teams to integrate large language models
- Apply strong design sensibilities to deliver polished interfaces
- Iterate quickly based on feedback from stakeholders and users
Requirements For Senior Frontend Engineer, Materia AI
- 5+ years building React-based web applications at scale
- Expertise in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Next.js
- Proven track record creating highly interactive, user-friendly interfaces
- Experience building new products or features from 0 to 1
- Excellent debugging skills and an eye for performance optimization
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Experience with Chatbot based tools preferred
- Familiarity with LLMs, machine learning, or AI-powered tools preferred
