Fullstack Software Engineer II

Toast is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer II to help build new Embedded Finance capabilities. Toast is built from the ground up for restaurants with over one hundred thousand restaurants using Toast. As a result, we are well-positioned to provide financial services such as high-yield bank accounts and insurance tailored specifically to restaurants. We need your help to grow our platform and add the next generation of these products.

Responsibilities:

• Work on a small team quickly building new products and features
• Review code to ensure technical implementations meet functional requirements
• Gain an understanding and contribute to team discussions on product features, design, marketing and strategy
• Collaborate with other teams across Toast

Requirements:

• Proficient in Java, Kotlin or other object-oriented language
• Experienced in Javascript/Typescript and a frontend framework such as React
• Passionate about making users happy and seeing people use your product in the wild
