Token Metrics is seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity. This role combines technical expertise in security engineering with hands-on programming skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization's digital assets through implementing and managing security measures, responding to security incidents, and maintaining robust security protocols.

The position requires a strong foundation in cybersecurity methodologies and practical experience with various security tools including Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, and Web-Proxy. The role demands someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capabilities.

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of protecting Token Metrics' infrastructure, implementing security controls, and responding to security incidents. Responsibilities For Cyber Security Engineer

  • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks
  • Troubleshooting security and network problems
  • Responding to all system and/or network security breaches
  • Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
  • Participating in the change management process
  • Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities
  • Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
