Software Engineer – SAP Hana GL Functional Lead

Toyota, one of the world's most admired automotive brands, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their team in Plano, Texas. This role is part of Toyota Financial Services (TFS), the finance and insurance brand for Toyota and Lexus in North America, focusing on delivering innovative financial solutions and exceptional customer experiences.

The position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA FICO, particularly in General Ledger (GL) and Controlling (CO) modules. As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing hands-on support to the SAP GL Platform currently in production, implementing functional enhancements, and leading new project implementations.

Key responsibilities include gathering and defining business requirements, configuring SAP FICO modules, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring the completeness of monthly and yearly book closures. You'll also serve as a testing lead and mentor to other team members, driving system requirements and design decisions.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA FICO, 5+ years of full SAP implementation lifecycle experience, and strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA version 1909 or higher. A deep understanding of financial accounting principles and excellent analytical skills are essential.
