Software Engineer, Kubernetes - 1006

Trace3 Gov is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Kubernetes to support the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). This role is perfect for an experienced DevOps engineer who wants to make an impact in the defense sector.

The position involves working with cutting-edge technologies in cloud infrastructure and containerization, with a focus on Kubernetes and OpenShift environments. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining secure, resilient Kubernetes clusters while implementing DevSecOps best practices. This is a key role in helping the organization transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based architecture.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code principles. You'll need at least 3 years of experience with cloud platforms and DevSecOps practices, plus 2 years working with VMWare Tanzu clusters. Knowledge of RedHat Linux and OpenShift is essential.
