Backend Software Engineer - Senior level

This person will be a contributor to the success of Transifex's customers, including Hubspot, Vodafone, Eventbrite, Waze, and Datadog, that rely on Transifex to achieve a truly multilingual, global presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop and scale the code that powers the Transifex SaaS platform
• Collaboratively develop, integrate, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate and enhance localization workflows
• Write well-structured, maintainable and highly performing code
• Design and implement distributed systems using microservices architecture
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot on production
• Work in a cross-functional team to shape and implement product requirements
• Ensure high quality through code reviews and adherence to internal standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or proven strong background
• At least 8 years of work experience in the IT sector
• Excellent communication skills in English, particularly written communications
• Experience with performance and scalability of web applications
• Solid knowledge of database systems
• Strong programming abilities, preferably in Python
• Experience with Django
• Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
