Associate Developer, Data Engineering

TransUnion, a global information and insights company with over 12,000 associates worldwide, is seeking an Associate Developer for their Data Engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with Big Data technologies in a cloud environment (AWS and GCP).

The position involves developing and maintaining data pipelines using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and various programming languages including Java, Scala, and Python. You'll be working on critical data infrastructure that supports TransUnion's mission of making trust possible in the marketplace.

As an Associate Developer, you'll collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and analysts to build scalable solutions for processing and analyzing large datasets. The role requires a strong foundation in Java programming and enthusiasm for Big Data technologies. You'll be responsible for writing efficient code, designing data models, and implementing SQL queries for data access and analysis.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 2 years of software development experience. Strong programming skills in Java and Python, along with experience in Big Data technologies and cloud platforms, are essential.
