Responsibilities For Continuous Monitoring Engineer

  • Develop, implement, and maintain continuous monitoring strategies for FedRAMP-compliant systems
  • Conduct continuous control testing and verification in accordance with FedRAMP requirements
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments
  • Monitor security controls to ensure compliance with FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security integration
  • Maintain FedRAMP System Security Plan (SSP)
  • Monitor and analyze security logs from various sources
  • Prepare security status and compliance reports
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and training on compliance and security best practices

Requirements For Continuous Monitoring Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security
  • Proficiency with security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners
  • In-depth knowledge of FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) highly desirable
  • Must be US citizen, permanent resident or eligible for required authorizations
