Responsibilities For Lead Front-End Engineer (React) – Digital Products
- Lead the front-end redesign and rebranding of a widely used digital gifting application
- Optimize mobile usability, responsiveness, and performance across devices
- Integrate gift cards as a native component within a larger fintech ecosystem
- Improve digital setup and customer experience to boost activation and engagement
- Develop high-quality, reusable UI components using Storybook
- Implement and maintain CMS integrations using Contentful
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards) across all front-end implementations
- Write and maintain unit tests using React Testing Library and Jest
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams across global regions
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders and internal teams
Requirements For Lead Front-End Engineer (React) – Digital Products
- 5+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role
- Expert-level proficiency in React & Redux (state management)
- Expert-level proficiency in Storybook (for component development and documentation)
- Expert-level proficiency in Contentful (or similar headless CMS platforms)
- Expert-level proficiency in Tailwind CSS or other utility-first frameworks
- Expert-level proficiency in React Testing Library / Jest (unit testing)
- Strong command of accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices
- Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with distributed/remote teams
- Demonstrated ability to deliver scalable, performant front-end applications
