This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, focusing on React expertise and modern front-end practices. The ideal candidate will lead the redesign and modernization efforts, implementing mobile-first optimization and performance enhancements. Key responsibilities include building reusable UI components with Storybook, integrating Contentful CMS, and ensuring WCAG accessibility compliance. The role requires 5+ years of front-end development experience, with demonstrated expertise in React, Redux, and modern testing frameworks.

Responsibilities For Lead Front-End Engineer (React) – Digital Products
- Lead the front-end redesign and rebranding of a digital gifting application
- Optimize mobile usability, responsiveness, and performance across devices
- Integrate gift cards as a native component within a larger fintech ecosystem
- Improve digital setup and customer experience
- Develop high-quality, reusable UI components using Storybook
- Implement and maintain CMS integrations using Contentful
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards)
- Write and maintain unit tests using React Testing Library and Jest
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams across global regions
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders and internal teams
Requirements For Lead Front-End Engineer (React) – Digital Products
- 5+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role
- Expert-level proficiency in React & Redux
- Experience with Storybook for component development
- Experience with Contentful or similar headless CMS platforms
- Proficiency in Tailwind CSS or other utility-first frameworks
- Experience with React Testing Library / Jest
- Strong command of accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices
- Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with distributed/remote teams
- Demonstrated ability to deliver scalable, performant front-end applications
