Truist, a major financial services company formed by the merger of BB&T and SunTrust, is seeking a Wealth Release Train Engineer I to join their team. This role is a crucial servant leader and coach position for the Agile Release Train, focusing on facilitating end-to-end value delivery through Agile methodologies.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 5 years of experience in Program Management or Scrum Master roles, combining technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities. As a Release Train Engineer, you'll be responsible for coordinating with Product Management, Solution Management, and various stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and efficient execution of projects.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a Fortune 500 financial institution, leading Agile ceremonies, managing cross-train dependencies, and driving continuous improvement. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the proper implementation of Truist's Agile SDLC and Risk Framework while participating in the company's Agile Guild and RTE Communities of Practice.

Responsibilities For Wealth Release Train Engineer I

  • Lead Scrum and/or Kanban teams in PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and other Agile Ceremonies
  • Deliver results in terms of predictability, productivity improvement, and quality
  • Ensure data maintained in Agile Tools is consistent across ARTs
  • Manage budgeting and oversight of capital expenditure within ART
  • Ensure Truist Agile SDLC, Agile Operating Framework and Risk Framework are followed
  • Participate in Truist Agile Guild and Agile RTE Communities of Practice
  • Coordinate cross ART dependencies and Road Map Reviews
  • Work with Scrum or Kanban masters in a consultant model

Requirements For Wealth Release Train Engineer I

  • College degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of five years Program Management experience and/or five years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • SAFe Agilist Certification
  • Strong knowledge of Agile concepts
  • Strong communication and organizational change management experience
  • Experience in delivery function at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies
