Two Circles is seeking a Contract iOS Developer for a 6-month engagement (Outside IR35) to join their Mobile Engineering team in London on a hybrid basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on greenfield products for major sports brands worldwide. As part of the position, you'll be instrumental in building modern, scalable apps from the ground up, directly impacting fan engagement across global sport. The role demands deep technical expertise in iOS development, particularly with Swift and SwiftUI, and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You'll be working on purpose-driven projects that reach millions of fans worldwide, contributing to high-quality code and helping achieve key milestones. The position combines technical excellence with the excitement of working in the sports industry, offering the chance to shape the future of fan engagement while working with some of the most iconic brands in sports. The hybrid working model requires 2 days per week in the London office, ensuring strong collaboration while maintaining flexibility.
Responsibilities For Contract iOS Developer
- Build and maintain high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
- Work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to develop end-to-end mobile features
- Contribute to architectural decisions in collaboration with senior engineers
- Collaborate within cross-functional squads to ship new features
- Ensure a high standard of quality through code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices
- Work 2 days per week in London office
Requirements For Contract iOS Developer
- Proven expertise in Swift and SwiftUI
- Strong understanding of scalable app architectures (MVVM-C, TCA, modularisation, dependency injection)
- Experience with UI/UX that adapts well across screen sizes and device types
- Experience with CI/CD environments (Bitrise, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with agile development practices and testing
- Experience with sports, media, or gamification apps (preferred)
- Familiarity with live data integration and streaming APIs (preferred)
- Personal passion or understanding of sports (preferred)
