Description For Infrastructure/MLOps Engineer

Two is an innovative fintech company revolutionizing B2B payments through their advanced software solutions. As an Infrastructure/MLOps Engineer, you'll join a dynamic team focused on building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies. The role combines DevOps and MLOps responsibilities, working with technologies like GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and PostgreSQL.

You'll be part of either the Oslo on-site team or the Glasgow hybrid team, contributing to the company's mission of transforming B2B commerce. The position offers hands-on experience with container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and database management, while also supporting machine learning operations.

The role includes key responsibilities such as designing cloud infrastructure, implementing security measures, and managing CI/CD pipelines. You'll work in a collaborative environment, interacting with various teams including data and machine learning specialists. The position includes on-call support duties, reflecting the critical nature of the infrastructure you'll be managing.

Responsibilities For Infrastructure/MLOps Engineer

  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Implement and maintain Kubernetes (GKE) clusters
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Manage containerized applications with Docker
  • Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases
  • Implement robust security measures
  • Configure and maintain NGINX for load balancing and reverse proxying
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with Data and Machine Learning teams to implement MLOps infrastructure

Requirements For Infrastructure/MLOps Engineer

Python
Kubernetes
PostgreSQL
  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Helm
  • Proficiency in Terraform
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments
  • Strong database management experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience configuring and managing NGINX
  • Strong understanding of network security and authentication mechanisms
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
  • Experience with GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Python scripting skills (preferred)
  • Familiarity with MLOps infrastructure (preferred)
