Software Engineer II, Backend - Trusted Identity

The Trusted Identity team at Uber is seeking a Software Engineer II for their Backend operations. This role is crucial in verifying the identity of customers and partners while ensuring intuitive user experiences. The successful candidate will design and build large-scale systems for user verification, enable checks at critical touchpoints, leverage digital information and behavior signals, and integrate with business systems dealing with Risk, Safety, and Compliance.

• Demonstrated ownership over bugs, timelines, and on-call shifts

Preferred qualifications include experience with fraud detection, implementing complex projects with multiple dependencies, and large-scale, distributed systems development.
