Responsibilities For Senior Applications Developer - Backend (REST API)
- Develop microservices following cloud native best practices
- Create and maintain REST APIs
- Perform design reviews and code reviews
- Provide real-time knowledge transfer to UPS team
- Establish best practices in design/coding/testing
- Implement performance tuning
- Create relevant documentation for services
- Set up distributed logging and instrumentation
- Participate in full systems life cycle management
- Collaborate with teams on technology planning and architecture design
Requirements For Senior Applications Developer - Backend (REST API)
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 5+ years experience developing applications
- Experience creating REST services (APIs) with microservice design patterns
- Familiarity with Spanner / SQL Server
- Experience creating integration services
- Familiarity with GCP PubSub / AMQP
- Ability to create CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with testing, automation, and BDD testing frameworks
- Knowledge of cloud native applications (GCP GKE / OpenShift)
