Senior IT Engineer

As a Sr IT Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of architecting, implementing, and scaling Upstart's infrastructure. The role demands expertise in designing large-scale systems, automating complex workflows, and leading cross-functional projects that enhance IT development and deployment processes. You'll work closely with engineering, IT, and InfoSec teams to drive technological excellence and security outcomes.

The position offers flexibility with multiple location options including San Mateo, Columbus, Austin, or fully remote, with a competitive salary range of $143,700-$198,700 USD. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of DevOps or IT infrastructure engineering experience, with proven expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash are essential, as is experience with enterprise tools like Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack Enterprise Grid.
