Description For Salesforce CPQ Developer

Vectra, the leader in AI-driven threat detection and response for hybrid and multi-cloud enterprises, is seeking a strong Salesforce CPQ developer to join their team in India. The ideal candidate will possess solid problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations.

As a Salesforce CPQ Developer at Vectra, you will:

  • Work on hands-on development, customization, and implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions
  • Design, build, and implement workflows, flows, and custom objects to automate business processes
  • Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into effective solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and platform bugs
  • Perform testing and assist with user acceptance testing
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle
  • Work on integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates and best practices

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of APEX experience and working as a Salesforce Developer
  • 3+ years of hands-on CPQ experience along with Amendments and Contracts
  • Proficiency with Salesforce standard and custom objects
  • High proficiency implementing Salesforce flows and other automations
  • Knowledge of security and governance in Salesforce
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies

Responsibilities For Salesforce CPQ Developer

  • Hands-on development, customization, and implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions
  • Design, build, and implement workflows, flows, and custom objects to automate business processes
  • Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ to meet business needs, including pricing, quoting, and product configurations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate complex business requirements into effective Salesforce CPQ
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers and junior team members
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and platform bugs
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for all developed solutions
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment and post-release support
  • Work on integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the developed solutions, including technical specifications and user guides
  • Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve existing solutions and processes
  • Create/modify experience cloud portals

Requirements For Salesforce CPQ Developer

JavaScript
  • Minimum of 3 years of APEX experience and working as a Salesforce Developer
  • Focused 3 years or more of hands-on CPQ experience along with Amendments and Contracts
  • Proficiency with Salesforce standard and custom objects: data architecture experience
  • High proficiency implementing Salesforce flows and other automations
  • Knowledge of security and governance (profiles, permission sets, data visibility, sharing settings)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and switch gears in high volume and fast paced environment
  • Experience with SDLC; from planning to deployment
  • Able to provide estimates to solutions
  • Familiar using JIRA
  • Proficiency in DevOps – Gearset, SF DX, other
  • Experience with integrations such as REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party systems
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
