Backend Software Engineer

Vestwell, a leading fintech company revolutionizing the savings economy, is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their payroll integrations engineering team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a platform that serves over 350,000 businesses and 1.5 Million active savers, managing over $30 billion in assets across all US states.

The position requires expertise in creating and consuming REST APIs using Python, with a focus on enabling seamless communication between Vestwell's systems and their partners. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of software engineering experience and should be comfortable working in a kanban development environment, writing well-tested, maintainable code.

This is a hybrid role with presence required in either Austin, King of Prussia, or New York office 2-3 times per week. The compensation range is competitive, offering $120K-135K (or $114K-128.25K for Austin), along with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, generous vacation time, and a 401(k) plan.
