Visium SA, an enterprise AI company, is seeking a Founding Full-Stack Product Engineer to help build their revolutionary GenAI product. The role combines full-stack development expertise with product engineering, requiring someone who can handle everything from frontend interfaces to backend infrastructure. As a founding engineer, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape not just the codebase, but also the architecture and engineering culture from the ground up. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of full-stack development experience, strong technical skills across the entire stack, and experience with modern cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities For Founding Full-Stack Product Engineer
- Design and build full-stack features that directly impact users, from backend logic to frontend experience
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using modern DevOps tooling
- Write scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code in Python, TypeScript, and React
- Design, implement and document RESTful APIs with FastAPI and data integrations
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, software and ML engineers
- Build reusable components, design systems, and performant user interfaces
- Own the CI/CD pipelines and contribute to the reliability of deployments and infrastructure
- Help define the technical roadmap and make architectural decisions
Requirements For Founding Full-Stack Product Engineer
- 6+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack applications in a product or startup environment
- Proficiency in Python, ReactJS, TypeScript, and strong grasp of unit testing and debugging practices
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, GitOps)
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis)
- Familiarity with front-end libraries like Material UI and with HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals
- Experience with interfacing with large language models (LLMs) and their ecosystem
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems, version control, and AI-based developer tooling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
