Responsibilities For Lead Software Engineer in Test
- Lead and mentor a team of SETs, providing technical guidance, support and performance feedback
- Integrate AI-powered testing tools into test automation frameworks
- Lead the adoption of AI-driven methodologies for test optimization
- Manage day-to-day activities and workload of the test team
- Develop and implement test strategies for new features
- Oversee design and maintenance of automated test frameworks
- Develop and maintain reusable test scripts and libraries
- Ensure automation solutions integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor execution of automated tests and analyze results
- Establish and track key performance metrics
- Identify opportunities for test automation and process improvements
Requirements For Lead Software Engineer in Test
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Experience with AI-driven test automation tools like Mabl
- 4+ years of experience in software development, test automation or software quality engineering
- Solid understanding of software development, QA methodologies
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (Java preferred)
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Maven, Gradle, Cucumber)
- Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines
