Backend Developer at Vocera (Django)

Vocera is a Y Combinator–backed, early-stage AI startup revolutionizing the testing and observability of AI voice agents. Founded by IIT Bombay alumni, with deep roots in Computer Science and research experience from ETH Zurich, we're building a dependable platform that automates the evaluation of voice agents.

As a Backend Developer, you'll be integral to our product development team, working on:

• Building and maintaining web applications using Django framework
• Collaborating with front-end developers for seamless integration
• Optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
• Implementing robust security measures
• Working with AWS, Redis, and Celery for deployment and task management
• Integrating AI models like GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Deep Seek

Our platform simulates thousands of realistic conversational scenarios for AI voice agents, from ordering food to conducting interviews. We provide real-time monitoring, comprehensive logs, and instant alerting to ensure optimal performance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong Django experience and Python coding skills
• Experience with cloud deployment (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing with Redis and Celery
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Passion for staying current with web development and AI
