Description For Game Developer - Portfolio Games

Voodoo, a leading mobile gaming company founded in 2013, is seeking a Unity C# Game Developer to join their Portfolio team within the Live team. With 800 employees and an impressive track record of 7 billion downloads, Voodoo stands as the #3 mobile publisher worldwide after Google and Meta.

The role involves working on reviving some of Voodoo's biggest legacy games like Epic Plane, Flappy Dunk, and Crazy Kick. As a Game Developer, you'll be instrumental in contributing to game architecture, feature development, and design for various Hyper Casual or Hybrid games. The position offers the flexibility of being based in Paris offices or working remotely from France and Europe.

You'll be part of a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with a diverse team of experts including product managers, game artists, tech engineers, monetization managers, and data analysts. The role requires strong expertise in Unity/C# development, combined with a creative mindset and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

The company's Gaming team consists of hybrid-casual, casual, and mid-core experts, split between 'Core' games team supporting worldwide studios and 'Live' games team focusing on existing successful games. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a company that has created chart-topping games like Mob Control and Block Jam, alongside popular apps such as BeReal and Wizz.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in game development, particularly with Unity/C#, and be comfortable working with AB testing and analytics tools. You'll need to demonstrate not just technical expertise, but also a creative approach to problem-solving and a willingness to explore new challenges across various aspects of game development, marketing, and legal considerations.

  • Expertise in Unity/C#
  • Strong proficiency at troubleshooting Tech related issues
  • Technical understanding of AB testing & Analytics tools
  • Previous experience and exposure to the game production process
  • Creative and hacker mindset with a strong sense of ownership
