The role offers a competitive salary range of $109,000 - $190,000 USD, plus equity and performance bonuses.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll collaborate with autonomy and algorithm engineers, build standardized frameworks, and work with AWS Cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of industry experience or advanced degrees in relevant fields, with strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Rust, and experience with PyTorch and distributed machine learning systems.

Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer
- Contribute and build self-driving engineering foundations for next generation autonomy software
- Collaborate with autonomy and algorithm engineers to scale safe self-driving systems
- Build standardized frameworks for training and production
- Profile model runtime and memory to identify performance bottlenecks
- Evaluate emerging technologies for training and production frameworks
- Work with AWS Cloud infrastructure for training job stability and efficiency
Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer
- MS/PhD or Bachelors degree with minimum 2 years industry experience in Computer Science, Robotics or similar
- Solid coding proficiency in Python, C++ or Rust
- Ability to rapidly prototype with test driven development methodologies
- Experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch
- Experience in distributed machine learning training, model deployment and monitoring
- Experience building software solutions on cloud infrastructure
