Software Engineer III

Walmart Global Tech is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Marketplace team, focusing on building core platforms and services that enable third-party sellers on walmart.com. This role is part of the Marketplace Engineering team, which is responsible for managing the entire seller lifecycle and delivering high-value insights to sellers.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $117,000 to $234,000, along with performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k), and stock purchase options. The role follows a hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration with flexible remote work options.

As a Software Engineer III, you'll be working on the Marketplace Offer Exposure team, solving for traffic and conversion growth for sellers. Key responsibilities include building seller experiences for growth management, marketing campaigns, and analytics dashboards. You'll collaborate closely with data science teams to develop growth models and work with cross-functional teams to execute product vision.

The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, particularly with Java, Spring, and microservices architecture. You should be comfortable working with both relational and NoSQL databases, and have experience building large-scale systems. The role requires either a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 2 years of experience, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
