Software Engineer III

Walmart Global Tech is seeking a Software Engineer III for their Marketplace team, focusing on building core platforms and services that enable third-party sellers on walmart.com. The role is part of the Marketplace Offer Exposure team, which drives traffic and conversion growth for sellers. You'll be working on building experiences for sellers to manage their growth and marketing campaigns, including onboarding, campaign workflows, and analytics dashboards.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $117,000-$234,000 plus performance bonuses and stock options. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science/ML, design, legal compliance, and technical program teams. The role requires strong backend development skills, particularly in Java and related technologies.

As part of Walmart's technology division, you'll be working on systems that impact hundreds of millions of people, helping to shape the future of retail. The team operates in a modern technical environment, using microservices architecture, both SQL and NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining large-scale systems that manage the entire seller lifecycle and deliver high-value insights to sellers.
