This role is within VIZIO's Technology – Software and Services team, specifically on the HTML5 App platform team that powers hundreds of 3rd party Apps on Vizio TVs.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the platform, fixing bugs, addressing technical debt, and implementing new features. You'll work in a collaborative environment with an 8-10 person engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The position requires strong expertise in C++, Python, and Linux systems.

You'll be involved in everything from requirements gathering to delivery, including architecture design, code analysis, and implementation of robust software practices.
