Description For DevOps Engineer

WatchGuard Technologies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Developer Platform (DevPlat) team. This role is perfect for a customer-focused, data-driven developer passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. The position involves working with cloud technologies, automation, and modern development practices. The DevPlat team is responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines in multi-cloud environments, alongside developer tools like GHES, Artifactory, Jenkins, and cloud infrastructure in AWS/AZURE.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and maintaining scalable systems that empower developers to deliver high-quality software efficiently. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and various DevOps tools. You'll be responsible for automating infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD workflows, and building internal tools to enhance developer productivity.

The position offers the opportunity to work remotely from Brazil while collaborating with development teams across the globe. Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure foundational systems
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management
  • Design, implement, and optimize multi-cloud CI/CD workflows
  • Ensure fast, reliable, and secure builds, tests, and deployments
  • Automate and manage cloud infrastructure using Cloud Formation, Terraform, Bicep, and other IaC tools
  • Build and maintain internal tools to enhance developer efficiency and security
  • Build internal developer tools to automate repetitive tasks
  • Champion security and operational best practices
  • Share knowledge through documentation, presentations, and guidance
