Senior Software Engineer | CODE

Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for their CODE team - Challenges & Gamification Squad in Brazil. As part of the Consumer Digital Experience (CODE) team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining Wellhub's App, backend services, and working closely with product, UX, and data teams. The role focuses on creating engaging products and integrating with health data platforms like AppleHealth and Google Health.

The position requires a passionate developer with 5+ years of experience who can deliver high-quality work, lead architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers. You'll work with modern technologies including Go, Kotlin, Java, and various AWS services, while handling distributed systems and microservices architecture. The role involves working with event-driven architectures, SQL/NoSQL databases, and message brokers like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
