Senior Software Engineer

Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Consumer Digital Experience (CODE) team, specifically the Challenges & Gamification Squad in Portugal. The role sits within the CODE team, which is responsible for the end-user experience of Wellhub's platform. The Challenges & Gamification Squad focuses on making the user experience more engaging and fun, while also working on integrations with health data platforms like AppleHealth and Google Health.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be expected to deliver high-quality code, participate in architectural decisions, and mentor less experienced developers. The position requires strong technical leadership, with responsibilities including code reviews, architectural planning, and maintaining high coding standards. You'll work closely with product teams and stakeholders in an agile environment, taking ownership of critical features and contributing to the technical direction of the squad.
