Fullstack Engineer, Community

As a Fullstack Engineer on our Community team, you'll be at the forefront of building social features that create lasting connections between sellers and buyers. You'll work on the Live Experience platform, enabling real-time interactions through purchasing, chat, and giveaways, while also developing innovative products like our Rewards Club that recognizes loyal community members.

The role requires expertise in both frontend and backend development, with experience in technologies like Python, Elixir, Next.js, and Postgres. You'll be responsible for creating fluid, responsive interfaces with seamless animations while ensuring robust backend functionality. The position demands creative problem-solving skills to balance development speed, product impact, and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and scaling social features that drive buyer retention and GMV
• Developing new strategic products and prototyping innovative ideas
• Creating delightful user experiences with live video and real-time interactions
• Leading technical initiatives from conception to production

Requirements:

• 4+ years of full-time software engineering experience in high-growth startups
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong expertise in full-stack development with modern web technologies
• Experience with real-time features and scalable systems
• Product-minded approach to technical solutions
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality features quickly
