Software Engineer, Core Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead deployment of ML models on critical business surfaces
• Improve infrastructure for new use cases (e.g., ANN-based retrieval stack)
• Develop scalable ML design patterns
• Define and advance technical approach to scalable machine learning
• Flex to take on new challenges as they emerge

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
• 1+ years of professional Python development
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis)
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services (AWS, Sagemaker, Lambda, etc.)
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Whatnot offers a competitive salary range of $205,000 - $275,000/year plus benefits and equity.
