Description For Entry-level Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist

Woodard & Curran is seeking a motivated, bright, and talented Entry-level Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist to join their Great Falls, Montana office. This role offers an opportunity to jumpstart your career and expand your skills while working alongside experienced professionals. You'll be involved in project work from day one, addressing water and environmental challenges for clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting environmental samples (soil, groundwater, etc.)
  • Installing monitoring wells and overseeing contractors
  • Assisting in field investigations and construction oversight
  • Preparing regulatory submittals and technical reports
  • Managing and analyzing data for reports and visualizations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field (M.S. preferred)
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, ArcGIS, CAD)
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills

Responsibilities For Entry-level Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist

  • Collecting samples of soil, groundwater, and other environmental media
  • Installing monitoring wells, performing remediation monitoring and overseeing contractors
  • Assist field investigations and provide construction oversight
  • Assisting in the preparation of various regulatory submittals, technical memorandums, and/or engineering design reports
  • Managing, analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting data for use in reports and other visualizations

Requirements For Entry-level Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working around construction equipment and/or in a construction environment
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, ArcGIS, CAD
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
