DevOps Engineer

WorkWave is seeking a DevOps Engineer (with Cloud Infrastructure and/or Software Development experience) to join our DevOps team. DevOps at WorkWave is driven to understand and deliver leading approaches to Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD, Application Infrastructure, Test Automation and operational data analysis processes.

In this role, you'll work closely with the team and Software Engineers to define and implement standards governing cloud application design, automated build, test and deployment of cloud-based applications, and automation of infrastructure and services. You'll be responsible for:

• Building automated CI/CD pipelines
• Creating cloud infrastructure and configuration as code (using Chef and CloudFormation)
• Developing and leveraging AWS tools and services
• Building high-availability application environments and platforms in AWS
• Developing solutions for continuous monitoring and alerting
• Coaching and training Engineers and QA on automation tools and processes
• Developing and improving Web, Mobile, and API automated test frameworks

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in Software Development, DevOps, or Infrastructure engineering. Experience with C#/.NET, Web UI automation tools, performance testing, and AWS managed services is preferred. The role requires proficiency in scripting languages and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
