Staff Software Engineer

Xometry, a NASDAQ-listed company (XMTR), is seeking a Staff-level Backend Engineer to join their software engineering team. This role is part of their digital marketplace platform that connects innovative ideas with manufacturing capabilities. The position is offered as a 1-year contract with the opportunity to work on their instant-quote product and supporting technology platform.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of software development experience and strong expertise in Python or Rust. You'll be joining a skilled, collaborative team where you'll have significant ownership and impact on the platform's development. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on coding, requiring proficiency in multiple technologies including HTML, TypeScript/JavaScript/React, Python, and Rust.
