Junior Data Engineer

XP Inc. is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are a company in constant construction, where learning is continuous, and you'll have free rein to create and face many (many!) challenges. You'll work alongside diverse and talented people who will help you use your full potential and generate the greatest possible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement policies, processes, and tools for data definition, accountability, and democratization
• Analyze and solve problems (bug analysis and correction)
• Work with relevant programming languages for data engineering such as Apache Spark, Python, PySpark, or SQL
• Handle data architecture
• Perform ETL and orchestrate data pipelines
• Work with Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake (Lakehouse layers)
• Handle multiple concurrent priorities, taking on responsibilities and risks in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Required Skills:

• Passion for the financial market
• Analytical capability for problem-solving
• Experience with relevant programming languages for data engineering
• Knowledge of Data Architecture
• Experience with ETL and Data Pipeline Orchestration
• Familiarity with Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake
• Knowledge of cloud platforms
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Reside in São Paulo
