As a Product Manager for YouTube Data, you will be responsible for building out the Data Foundations for the Commerce Platform, in partnership with Engineering Leads in Bengaluru and the cross-functional team in San Bruno. You will be instrumental in establishing team norms and culture, serve as the key point of contact to the global team, and partner to establish goals of the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing on Tooling product goals and strategy
  • Validating proposals for feasibility, market size, and opportunity
  • Defining and owning product roadmaps
  • Managing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and launches
  • Communicating qualitative and quantitative status and product insights

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 5 years of experience in product management, and experience developing Internet products and technologies. Preferred qualifications include experience in commerce-related products, product internationalization, cross-functional collaboration, data modeling, and intermediate level SQL skills.

  • Experience in product internationalization, especially for commerce-related products (preferred)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders (preferred)
  • Experience in data modeling and Intermediate level SQL (preferred)
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
