Field Service Engineer / Technician (Gulf Region) – Global Field Services

Zeeco, a leader in combustion equipment and technologies, is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Technician for the Gulf Region to join their Global Field Services team. This role, based out of Zeeco's Houston office, requires extensive field work and knowledge of all Zeeco products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and consult on field installation of Zeeco equipment
• Perform field start-up, commissioning, operation, troubleshooting, and inspection of Zeeco equipment
• Problem-solve in the field with minimal supervision
• Communicate effectively with various personnel, from plant managers to skilled labor
• Read and understand documentation and drawings
• Complete written or electronic reports and documentation
• Fulfill all safety requirements and qualifications for site visits

The ideal candidate will have:

• A college degree in engineering or a related field (preferred but not required)
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemicals, or related industries
• Familiarity with combustion equipment including flares, burners, and thermal oxidizers
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of electrical systems, Burner Management Systems, Local Control Panels, Motor Operated Valves, Variable Frequency Drives, and gas measurement & instrument controls
• Proficiency in controls troubleshooting and HART Communication Devices
