For Workplace posts to be impactful at Meta, what should the standard template be? Could you please give an example. (P.S. speaking in terms of a meta intern here)

I don't have an exact example as I don't want to be sued for leaking stuff, but here's the template I used: "How to get more visibility on work?"

I recommend the overall intern course as well if you haven't gone through it yet: The Software Engineer Internship Survival Guide

The purpose of a Workplace post should be to share helpful information and updates with your teammates. A few tips:

    • Start with a tl;dr (too long; didn't read) at the top. People don't read on the internet, they skim. So make it easy for people to glean the core information.
    • Provide pointers to previous updates or relevant documentation, in case people want to learn more. This prevents your Workplace posts from being super long.
    • Tag two types of people in every post: people who should be aware (XFN partners, leadership) and people who helped you (acknowledge them, e.g. your mentor and code reviewers).
