Contacting Meta Intern Manager

Question

I'll be starting Meta internship next week. Day 1 is orientation, so interns generally meet their intern manager on Day 2.

I'm thinking of asking my intern manager on Day 1 where we will be meeting the next day. Should I send him an email, or would it be better to wait until I have access to the internal Workplace (likely late in the afternoon) and send him a message then?

I feel it would be better to ask via email as there is a chance the IM may not see the message until the next day, but not sure.

Just wait until your first day. Is there any urgency in figuring out where you'll meet? I'm assuming no, so pinging your manager at the end of day 1 won't make much difference.

Besides, once you get access to internal tools like email + calendar, there may already be a location set for your 1:1.
