How can I get a software engineering job in the Silicon Valley in the US? Currently working in Cisco Bangalore, India

Hi,
I am currently working as a Grade 8 (SDE-3) software engineer in Cisco India and wish to work in the Silicon Valley in the US. What is the quickest way to make that happen?

- (most common) Come to the US for a masters
- Internal transfer within Big Tech like Cisco
- (least common) Be exceptional in open source or tech domain so companies will want to hire you directly and sponsor you to come to the US.

Cisco is a huge US-based company with offices all over the country. Is there a way you can apply for an internal transfer to an American office? That seems like the most straightforward path to me as it would require minimal interviewing.
If you can't do it internally, the common paths I've seen here:
- Coming to the US to do a Master's and finding a job after that
- Getting in on H1B (H1B is lottery though, and the program is infamously abused)
