I wanted a portfolio that would say "this person is creative & produces high quality engineering". I have plans to make it AAA accessible, more performant and update the layout based on feedback.
With a hope to showcase it on awwwards.
Very creative! I spent several minutes exploring where the cartoon figure (of you?) would move around on the screen.
The vibe I get from the site is "This is a creative engineer who clearly cares about language and has done a ton of relevant projects."
Some feedback:
@Rahul thanks for the feedback!
I did plan to add an audio icon on the info button, I don't wanna jumpscare anyone haha
From analytics, 14% of visitors pick the Hindi option, and a few % pick Mandarin.
I just forgot to update the translations for the main box!
I'll give it a go at updating the layout to make it more user-friendly and adding a summary for all projects but the highlighted ones will have more information.
The main goal was to get noticed by people within the creative technology space like Google Creative Lab, Google X, or Meta Creative X - these places heavily value a creative portfolio.
Thanks again for the feedback!
https://www.antride.ca/: The easiest way to organize carpools.
ant ride is a carpooling website you can use with your to automatically create the most optimal carpooling routes between drivers and riders 24 hours before the event starts. Usually, carpooling is tedious to organize but my website automates the matching process based on location. Check it out and let me know of any feedback.
I like this idea! Main feedback I have, if you're trying to grow this organically, is to figure something for a very lazy user to do. Filling out the form is very daunting, I just see a bunch of fields.
Can you show a list of upcoming carpools with number of people, or a way for people to add their email with a location so you can notify them when their area is operational? And this is also good for you to validate demand.

My app where I wrote a custom algorithm for translating between languages. The project was part of a larger project to compare different algorithms/papers/models for translating between languages that are not widely spoken (e.g. Irish)
@Sai, I got this message for the first 2-3 times I loaded the page:
Hmm... looks like it's taking longer than normal.
Check back in a minute or two!
But it works now! Very cool, although since I don't know French it's hard to feel any kind of magic moment.
My personal site (I haven't updated it in almost a year!): https://rkpandey.com/
Portfolios are fun to build, but I would caution on over-optimizing them or trying to make the too "cute": Creating A Portfolio That Makes Recruiters Come To You.
The reality is that most people won't bother spending more than 30 seconds on your personal site.
I like it, nice and simple. I would add "magin: 0 auto" to horizontally center it.
