Great AI tooling.
Money is great, with top-of-the-line pay.
If the money they offer you is pretty much enough for you to sacrifice everything in your life, like health and being stressed about being PIPed, then definitely go for it.
Some teams are good; however, if you are on the wrong team, then it will be really tough to survive.
Deadlines are insane because apparently AI is magic.
If you are in a team with a weak tech lead, then god help you.
Blame culture is encouraged in the India org, and people are focused on protecting themselves, which is understandable because the culture of the company comes from above.
Worst oncall culture in the industry, where you will have to manage work and oncall at the same time. Of course, due to having weak tech leads and architectural decisions, you will regularly be paged.
No feedback system to actually give feedback about your reporting persons, so if you don't get along with them, then you are effed.
People leave after 1 year or before because they realise the culture is rotten, work deadlines are really bad, and maybe the money is not worth the hit on mental and physical health.
Nothing, tbh, because I am pretty sure you already see the metrics.
The attrition rate is pretty high whether it be for leadership, management, or engineers.
You will always be able to find replacement for them, and I think if things are going pretty well, then there is nothing to change here.
Interviewed by two developers who were more junior than I was. Overall, I did well on the interview but got tripped up on syntax. I feel like, as junior developers, they evaluated me on my knowledge of Python syntax as opposed to actual coding abilit
I applied online. The process took 2 months. Take-home assignment screener. Four rounds: * Assignment review & iteration * System design & Incident handling * Code review & fix implementation with AI * Engineering manager interview Overall strong f
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. Had a phone screen where I was asked about my qualifications and then given a take home challenge (which requires a lot of time and effort). After that I was invited for a technical debrief. Recruiter was
